Life Changes Eight-Week Group Program FAQs
WHO IS THE PROGRAM FOR?
- Anyone with stress in their lives who is looking for new ways to manage it.
- Anyone diagnosed with or believed to be suffering from a stress-related health disorder.
WHY?
Research suggests that chronic stress and/or lifestyle choices have a significant impact on both the cause and recovery from many health disorders. Yoga and mindfulness meditation may prove extremely helpful. The data we have collected shows an overall improvement of symptoms by an average of 55%.
WHO IS RUNNING THE PROGRAM?
Kevin Sharpe has over 25 years experience in meditation and meditation instruction. He is a certified Yoga instructor specializing in the meditative and therapeutic aspects of Yoga. Also a certified Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy practitioner, Kevin works with many different populations including: elite-level athletes, corporate executives, students, caregivers, as well as various patient populations such as those recovering from substance abuse, cancer, and heart disease. Kevin also lectures and gives workshops across the country on stress management and the benefits of a regular body-mind practice.
WHAT FORMAT WILL THE PROGRAM TAKE?
Participants will meet one time per week for 8 weeks. Each meeting will last 2 hours. There will also be one retreat day scheduled on a Sunday mid-way through the 8 weeks.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN EACH OF THE EIGHT-WEEK SESSIONS?
You will be part of a group led by a program leader. During the first meeting you will be informed more fully about the entire program and what will be involved. Each meeting will include the practice of yoga poses, mindfulness meditation, and group discussion.
I'VE NEVER DONE YOGA AND I'M NOT VERY FLEXIBLE. WILL THAT BE A PROBLEM?
No, it will not be a problem. With careful instruction and breathing, you will be safely guided through the different physical poses each week. It is expected that everyone in the group will have their own unique limitations, and this is perfectly acceptable.

WHAT DO I WEAR?
Wear loose, comfortable clothes.

No. Just yourself and a willingness to explore something new and different - an open mind.
FEE
A fee of $495.00 will apply for the entire program. This fee includes all materials, CDs, and course book.
Group size limited so early registration advised.
